Aswin Subramanyan traces his astrological roots through his maternal lineage, which spans over 350 years. He began reading charts under the close guidance of his granduncle, who would allow him to lead client readings while stepping in gently when needed. While his foundation is firmly rooted in the classical tradition of Jyotiṣa, Aswin has gone on to explore Hellenistic and Medieval Persian astrology, appreciating the depth and nuance they bring.
